I have lived in Arizona for 18 years and I love it!!!!  I have been married to Karen for almost 35 years.  We have 4 beautiful children - 2 daughters and 2 sons.  Shanna, Troy, Lori and Trevor are married to wonderful spouses.  Shanna has 6 children and Troy has 2 children. Lori has 2 children. Trevor has 2 children. We have beautiful grandchildren.  I was born in Provo, Utah and moved to Blackfoot, Idaho when I was 3 years old.  I played the drums in a band called "The Mydknights" during High School and following my mission.  I served in the Western Canadian mission and loved it.  I have attended college at  Utah State, Ricks, and Idaho State.  I have received a private pilot license and earned my Eagle Scout award.  We are in the Gilbert Arizona Higley Stake.  I have served in a variety of positions in the church.  I enjoyed the High Counsel but I think that I enjoyed being the Nursery assistant most. I love what I do now I am the bishop of a young single adult ward.  I have a strong testimony of the gospel and I love being with the youth.

This letter of recommendation is written for Ron Howard.  Both Ron and

myself were employed at Phone Directories Co. Inc for many years.  I dealt

with Ron on several levels.  His remarkable sales ability as well as sales

training, motivational speaking, and sales management will long beremembered.

I served as Vice President of Sales for several years.  During those years

Ron Howard was awarded annually in every catagory available. Some of which

Phone Directories Company publishing phone books in the U.S. as well as

Canada.  There were some 300 sales representatives of which Ron Howard was

#1 is every catagory.

Ron was #1 in the President's club an honor only 10 sales representatives

could achieve.  He also was placed in the Hall of Fame an honor only four

individuals at Phone Directories Company ever achieved.

At our annual international sales conferences Ron Howard was always invited

to be one of our featured motivational speakers.  He had the amazing ability

to make you laugh and cry and some how come out feeling like a star who was

ready to conquer the world.

Ron was well respected by his peers.  He served as regional sales manager

for a time as well as international trainer.  It was hard to take Ron out of

the sales field because of his abilities but we needed him to attempt to

teach others what he did so well.  He was a superb trainer and the sales

numbers proved it.

Ron's abilities are far reaching and it is difficult to do him justice in

this letter.  His customer service problems were virtually non-existent. 

Because of who he his, Ron's customers saw him as a friend as well as a

business partner who had their best interest at heart.  He is a man of

integrity and uses good, honest, professional sales methods to be

successful.

I would recommend Ron Howard to you as one of the finest men of have been

privileged to work with as well as one of the most goal oriented, high
