One of the best school events that can happen is a daddy daughter dance. This is where the fathers take their daughters out on a date and go dancing. This is usually the first time the father has been dancing since he got married. Only the daughter could get him out on the dance floor.
The girls are just in heaven to be out with their dads. It is a magical night where they dress up and go out to a dinner and a dance. The daughters can be all ages.
I teach the dads to teach their daughter the correct way to slow dance.
Then the real fun happens when I teach the swing.
I show the dads how to throw their daughters over the head, how to dip and flip over the arm.
Then they both learn some fun group dances.
